RLA Nomination Process

Nominations for participation in the RLA need to be submitted by vice presidents, deans, directors, chairs, or other senior leaders who see the value in creating an expanded cadre of skilled leaders within their unit and the university. Nominators can serve in a facilitating and mentoring role throughout the program and may help to identify projects through which RLA Fellows can exercise a leadership role. Self-nominations are not permitted.

Mid-career faculty and academic staff are eligible to be nominated for participation in the program. Nominees should have the demonstrated potential for increased leadership responsibility and achievement within higher education.

Decisions for the now-closed nomination cycle for the 2024-2025 cohort will be announced in May 2024. The nomination form for the 2025-2026 cohort will open in March 2025 and nominees have until April 2025 to submit their application and supporting materials. Those who were nominated will receive a link to complete the process.
