With a commitment to building leadership capacity, strengthening organizational effectiveness, and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement across the institution, the Office of Organizational Leadership offers a host of customized internal consultation services for academic units at Rutgers.

These customized offerings include the following:

  • Advise academic leaders on issues related to strategic planning, priority setting, and continuous improvement, and alignment of goals and priorities with school, chancellor-led unit, and university strategic priorities.
  • Discuss approaches for engaging colleagues to develop and implement solutions to achieve continuous improvement.
  • Design and facilitate conversations, workshops, and retreats to advance chancellor-led unit and university priorities.
  • Provide coaching and consultation for academic leaders on topics related to leadership and organizational effectiveness, change planning and implementation, crisis leadership, and workplace engagement.
