Workplace Culture and Climate
Recognizing the importance of building a workplace culture and climate to support high-performing teams, our Center provides customized facilitations for units and departments using our Dimensions of Organizational Culture Framework. This framework allows individuals to consider the following dimensions of their organization’s culture: personnel, work standards, decision-making and problem-solving, interpersonal climate, meetings, change practices, and leadership practices. In this interactive workshop, participants are invited to consider each dimension and whether it is a consistent area of strength, weakness, or somewhere in the middle for the unit, department, or school.
Our Center can also conduct faculty and staff organizational climate inventories to help identify employee perceptions about one’s work experience. The reports from these inventories can be used to guide change initiatives across the unit, department, or school. Below is a preview of both the staff and faculty organizational climate inventories:
