Rutgers Center for Organizational Leadership is pleased to announce the 2021-2022 Rutgers Leadership Academy Fellows. The selection of Fellows for the fifth cohort of the program was difficult, with over 100 highly qualified nominees submitted for review. The shift to a hybrid program allowed us to accept our largest cohort this year, with a total of 52 Fellows, including 18 faculty and 34 staff representing all four campuses.
The Rutgers Leadership Academy (RLA) is a one-year program for mid-career faculty and staff who aspire to broadened leadership roles within their units, the university, and/or higher education, more generally. Through participation in this collaborative learning program, RLA Fellows develop a deeper understanding of the challenges confronting higher education, foster engagement with university strategy, enhance their leadership competencies, and strengthen their network of colleagues from across Rutgers who demonstrate a shared interest in leadership development.
