Amanda-Rae Barboza Barela serves as the Director of Residence Education for Residence Life (New Brunswick). She provides leadership in areas of staff training and development, student leadership, co-curricular learning, research and assessment, academic initiatives and diversity initiatives. Together with talented the Residence Life staff and student leaders, Amanda-Rae builds vibrant on-campus living environments that promote belonging, learning, social change, and wellness. She received her bachelor’s degree in Government & International Affairs with a minor in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University & master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs with a concentration in Social Justice Education from Iowa State University.
