On Wednesday, September 21, the Rutgers Center for Organizational Leadership welcomed the 6th cohort of the 2022-2023 Rutgers Leadership Academy, the first in-person opening event since Fall 2019. The new cohort consists of 20 faculty and 19 staff, with participation from faculty and staff from Camden, Newark, New Brunswick, RBHS, and university-wide units.
The Rutgers Leadership Academy (RLA) is a one-year program for mid-career faculty and staff who aspire to broadened leadership roles within their units, the university, and/or higher education, more generally.
Through participation in this collaborative learning program, RLA Fellows develop a deeper understanding of the challenges confronting higher education, foster engagement with university strategy, enhance their leadership competencies, and strengthen their network of colleagues from across Rutgers who demonstrate a shared interest in leadership development.
