Shivangiben (Shiva) Patel is the Business Manager at the Rutgers School of Public Health, overseeing the annual school budget and leading multi-year financial planning to align resources with institutional priorities. She partners with faculty and leadership to strengthen fiscal governance, ensure compliance with university and federal regulations, and streamline operations across payroll, procurement, and grant administration. With more than a decade of progressive financial and administrative experience at Rutgers University, Shiva has managed multi-million dollar budgets, implemented cost-saving initiatives, and improved audit readiness. She is completing dual master’s degrees in Public Administration and Governmental Accounting at Rutgers, and holds bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and History.
