Rola Bekdash has 15+ years of teaching and research experience. After receiving her PhD in Neuroscience from Rutgers University in 2012, she joined Columbia University as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow where she got awarded the prestigious Ruth Kirschstein National Research Service Award Fellowship from NIAAA and the Ruth Kirschstein Institutional National Research Award to investigate the effects of alcohol abuse and addiction on the adolescent brain. She has authored several peer-reviewed articles related to her work. In 2015, she joined Rutgers University teaching undergraduate and graduate students. In 2020, she got her MBA in Strategy from Rutgers Business School.
