Nadia Rago-Iddrisu

As a leader within the Pathways to Nursing Program, one of my key roles within the program has been as a manager, where I’ve effectively coordinated program activities, organized events, and facilitated communication between stakeholders. Through my proactive approach to program management, I’ve been able to develop processes, improve efficiency, and ensure that the program operates smoothly to meet the needs of our students.

Additionally, my role as a vital member of the advising team has allowed me to directly impact the academic journey of over 50 students. As an advisor, I have provided personalized guidance and support to help students navigate their academic paths, overcome challenges, and achieve their goals. Whether it’s assisting with course selection, or connecting students with resources, I have been committed to empowering students to succeed both academically and personally.

Lastly, in addition to engagement with the PNP, and advising, I have volunteered to chair committees that play a vital role in fostering community and driving organizational excellence. As the chair of the Staff Council Community Development committee, I have led efforts to promote a sense of belonging and collaboration among staff members, organize community-building events, and advocate for initiatives that enhance the workplace environment. Through my leadership, the committee has been able to create meaningful opportunities for staff members to connect, share ideas, and contribute to the overall well-being of our community.
