Mark DeGuzman is a Coordinator for the NSF I-Corps Hub: Northeast Region, recruiting research teams developing deep-tech innovations from across the region to participate in I-Corps programs that provide training, resources, mentorship, and funding to accelerate commercialization of University-owned intellectual property and help create startup companies. Mark has co-invented patented technologies from the RU-Newark Physics Department and served as an Entrepreneurial Lead in a National I-Corps team. He managed the Rutgers I-Corps Site for 4 years training over 120 teams and co-created the I-Corps Fellowship Program, matching dozens of diverse students to I-Corps teams to contribute in a meaningful way.
