Laura Stone is a student affairs professional with experience in various areas of higher education, including diversity and inclusion, service learning and civic engagement, academic and faculty engagement, student wellness and more. Laura has a Master’s of Social Work from Rutgers University with a specialization in Management and Public Policy. Laura has previously served as the Program Coordinator for Student Affairs at the Rutgers University-New Brunswick Honors College, where she oversaw the development of their Diversity Peer Education Program, the Student Wellness Committee, and the first-generation pre-orientation program Generation HC. Laura currently serves as the Senior Student Program Coordinator at the Rutgers School of Nursing, where she oversees student engagement, the first-year experience and wellness initiatives. Laura also serves as a member of the Student Affairs Health and Wellness committee were she developed the curriculum for and served as an instructor for the Byrne Seminar “Vibing and Thriving: In Pursuit of Wellness.” Nationally, Laura is a member of the NASPA National Conference virtual experience committee and has presented at the NASPA national conference for the past three years.
