Kristen Victorino

Kristen Victorino is an Associate Professor in the Rehabilitation and Movement Sciences Department of the Rutgers School of Health Professions. Her research and teaching focus on child language development and disorders, including a focus on school-based issues. She is the Primary Investigator on a project funded by the Rutgers Equity Alliance for Community Health (REACH) that leverages a partnership between Rutgers and the Newark schools to promote equitable speech-language service provision for culturally and linguistically diverse students in the district. Dr. Victorino is certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and licensed by the State of New Jersey as a speech-language pathologist. She is active in professional organizations at the state and national level and was appointed to serve on the Advisory Board for Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology for the State of New Jersey. Dr. Victorino received her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Emerson College and her research doctorate in Speech & Hearing Sciences from the CUNY Graduate Center.
