My name is Jesus Gualario, a Navy Veteran and Monroe College alumnus with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA. With over a decade of experience in Administrative Operations, I currently serve as an Administrative Manager at the School of Health Professions. In this role, I oversee three departments: Clinical Laboratory and Medical Imaging Sciences, Clinical Preventive Nutritional Sciences, Interdisciplinary Studies, as well as the Rutgers Health Food Pantry.
I have spent 10 years working in healthcare, during which I achieved several significant professional milestones. These include overseeing and managing the complete renovation of a multimillion-dollar children’s psychiatric unit and playing a pivotal role in the merger of two psychiatric hospitals.
As a Manager, my passion for the role stems from the dynamic nature of operations itself. Operations is the heartbeat of any organization—where strategy meets execution. I thrive on the challenge of optimizing processes, solving complex problems, and ensuring that all the moving parts of a business work seamlessly together. The ability to improve efficiency, drive productivity, and see the tangible results of my efforts in real-time is incredibly rewarding. I love my job because it allows me to make a meaningful impact, not just on the bottom line, but also on the lives of the people and teams I support.
