Glenn Davis is the Assistant Director of Information Technology for Rutgers Student Health, promoted to this position in July of 2019. Glenn initially joined Rutgers University, Student Health IT as a Unit Computing Specialist in 2013 after having spent four years at the former UMDNJ as part of the Central IT Team, and over ten years prior to that, both as an IT Consult and an employee of a few companies, both large and small. Having worked in various environments, and for several companies, has led Glenn to develop a strong and varied technical skill set. The experience of having worked at all levels from entry-level to a programmer, team leader, consultant, technical leader, subject matter expert, and all layers in between, has positioned him today at a place where he is responsible for influencing leaders at levels that he once provided only technical support to, while carving out new innovations, leading teams, staff, and interfacing on a more divisional/university-wide basis. Glenn is looking forward to expanding what he has learned, as well as acquiring new knowledge. His career progression and life experience has brought him to the place where this academy will help align and enhance those experiences and his strong desire to continue to expand, grow, and add value to the university and the community at large.
