Felicia R. LeSure is Director of the Office of the Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) Chancellor. Felicia is the founder and director of the RBHS Staff Mentoring Program (SMP). She also manages the RWJ Barnabas/Rutgers Health medical resident retention Rising Star Program. Felicia serves as Co-Chair of the RBHS Strategic Plan Goal Team Committee (U1 – People and Workforce) participating in the implementation of the RBHS Strategic Plan (2022- 2027) One RBHS: The Way Forward. Prior to Rutgers, Felicia was employed for 12 years at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine as an Administrative Coordinator and Program Coordinator.
Felicia was awarded two RBHS-IDEA: Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Advocacy Innovation Grants, one to support a Staff Leadership Series for Women of Color and another for a Staff Mentoring Program (which is currently in its third successful year). The mission of the RBHS-IDEA innovation grants is to support action-oriented projects that promote an inclusive, diverse, and cohesive culture at RBHS.
Felicia has over 20 years of experience in academia. She received her Master of Science in Organizational Dynamics degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2020 and is serving as Vice President of Membership for the Rutgers Staff Toastmasters Club.
