Christine Cahill

Dr. Christine Cahill is an Associate Teaching Instructor in the Department of Political Science at Rutgers University. She is currently serving as the Undergraduate Director and is responsible for overseeing over 900 undergraduate majors and minors in Political Science. She teaches a large introductory course on quantitative research methods to math-phobic students using a variety of evidence-based approaches to enhance participation and learning. She is currently a New Brunswick Faculty Representative to the Rutgers University Senate and serves on the Curriculum Committee for Rutgers School of Arts and Science. Dr. Cahill also is also a member of the Advisory Board to the American Political Science Association Educate, which provides leadership and guidance on a large digital library dedicated to teaching effectiveness in the Political Science discipline.  

In her free time, Dr. Cahill moonlights as a cycling instructor at a local gym. She enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, and traveling. She is also a proud parent to a 5-year old and 2-year old.
