Cassandra Oliveras-Moreno is the Administrator of Communications and Collaboration in the Department of Art & Design at Rutgers University. She co-founded Windows of Understanding, a community-based initiative that unites artists, local organizations and Rutgers University with the arts councils of New Brunswick, Highland Park and Metuchen to promote social justice issues.
Cassandra is a current member of Rutgers University Alumni Association (RUAA) Committee on Inclusion and Diversity, the New Brunswick Community Arts Council, NAACP New Brunswick Chapter, the Anti-Racism Task Force at the Reformed Church of Highland Park, and Trustee of the Highland Park Library. With two decades of experience in the field of arts administration, she has worked in Marketing and Community Relations for a variety of cultural institutions including The Roundabout Theatre Company, Ballet Hispanico, El Museo del Barrio, and The 92nd Street Y. She holds a BA in Spanish and an MCIS in Strategic Organizational Communication from Rutgers University.
