As director of news and digital strategy at University Communications and Marketing, I conceptualize, implement, and lead creative strategies and performance data analyses to amplify Rutgers as an institution of excellence.
I have worked at the university for 16 years in a marketing and media capacity, collaborating with administrators, faculty, staff, and students from many disciplines and backgrounds across Rutgers and around the world—but my Rutgers story began earlier: I received my bachelor’s degree in journalism and media studies, with a minor in psychology, from the university.
Outside of Rutgers, I have experience in graphic design, television production, and editing. I have served as a production assistant at CNN America, an editor of a nationwide magazine, and a freelance writer and marketing/media consultant for various organizations in the private sector.
