Amy Rockman

Amy Rockman serves as Director of the Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence for Rutgers Health and RWJBarnabas Health, where she also leads a Data Analytics team for the Office of Clinical and Health Affairs. With a background in Data Science & Epidemiology, including a master’s from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Amy has a long track record leveraging data to inform healthcare decision-making.

Amy is dedicated to advancing novel AI applications in healthcare, including the development of explainable multimodal mixed-methods models for predicting patient outcomes and providing clinical decision-support.  Amy works with the Center for Computational Biomedicine Imaging and Modeling to advance AI in medicine. She also Co-Chairs the Clinical AI Working Group for Rutgers University, facilitates the AI Executive Committee, and was recently appointed national Technical Advisor for Clinical Artificial Intelligence Safety Initiatives by the American Hospital Association.

Amy will continue her work as AI Director while embarking on a PhD, furthering her commitment to driving cutting-edge research and fostering the integration of supportive AI in medicine.
