Aaron Reevey, MPP, is a graduate of Monmouth University where he double majored in Communication and Political Science with a minor in Sociology. Aaron later went on to earn master’s degrees in both Public Policy and Corporate and Public Communications which helped him discover his passion of urban education reform. Aaron’s extensive experience working with youth throughout the region is utilized in his position as the Associate Director of the Rutgers Future Scholars Program.
Aaron, a first-generation college graduate and Educational Opportunity Fund alum, has helped to train hundreds of undergraduate students in the areas of leadership, mentoring, and youth development at Rutgers University where he helped develop a nationally renowned mentoring curriculum for the Rutgers Future Scholars program highlighting many 21st century goals and important skills necessary for high school students to succeed in college.
Prior to joining the Rutgers Future Scholars team, Aaron was a radio personality with Universal Music Group and served as an AmeriCorps College Access Coordinator at Rutgers University. In his spare time, Aaron enjoys playing and watching basketball, fitness, spending time with family and friends, restoring parks in urban areas, and friends traveling the world.
