Rutgers-Camden Faculty Leadership Program
The Rutgers-Camden Office of the Provost, in collaboration with the Rutgers Office of Organizational Leadership, co-sponsor the Rutgers-Camden Faculty Leadership Program. The target audience for this initiative includes faculty in a variety of leadership roles on campus (e.g., department chair, area head, graduate director) who are interested in knowledge acquisition and skill development in areas relevant to their current roles and potential future roles.
By participating in this program, faculty will (a) discuss various concepts and strategies for effective leadership in higher education; (b) explore relevant policies, processes, procedures and expectations for unit and department leaders at Rutgers-Camden; (c) reflect on one’s individual leadership development goals and areas for potential growth; and (d) engage in networking with other faculty who share an interest in leadership at Rutgers-Camden.
The initiative consists of eight sessions during the 2023-24 academic year. These sessions include a combination of didactic content, panel conversations, peer discussions, and access to supplemental resources.
