
Debra Pittman is an accomplished HR Program Administrator at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where she serves as the Program Administrator for the Office of Faculty Affairs. Reporting directly to the Executive Vice Dean, she oversees a team of four who serve as the central resource for 24 academic departments, supporting paid and unpaid faculty across all Basic and Clinical Science departments. Her leadership and commitment to a positive workplace culture have earned her recognition, including the Excellence in Staff Mentoring Award (2024) for outstanding support and professional development of staff, and the Joy at Work Mini-Grant (2024–2025) for implementing a project that fosters joy and engagement in the workplace. Debra holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University.
