Gregory L. Peck

Dr. Peck is a first-generation college graduate and double board-certified surgeon in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. While completing his Master of Clinical and Translational Science (MSCTS) in conjunction with his 2-year New Jersey Alliance for Clinical and Translational Science (NJACTS) Career Development Award, Dr. Peck was the 2021 to 2023 KL2 Junior Faculty Scholar supported by the NCATS-funded Rutgers CTSA Hub. He is currently funded by the K23 Mentored Patient-Oriented Research Career Development Award and the NIH Loan Repayment Program for Clinical Researchers, both of which are at the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK). His research focuses on multi-level etiologic factors of digestive disease requiring emergency forms of surgery associated with preventable mortality.
