Julia Zappi is a Senior Data Analyst on the Data, Analytics & Business Intelligence team within the Office for Research. In this role she analyzes complex data, identifies trends and translates insights into actionable strategies to help Office for Research leadership make data informed decisions. She conducts comprehensive training sessions, enabling users to navigate dashboards effectively and grasp the valuable information available to them and collaborates closely with IT to establish robust data sources from across the organization. Before this role, she was a Research Development Program Coordinator in the Office for Research where she disseminated funding opportunities, managed internal grant programs and Limited Submission competitions and set up and maintained the university’s Research Information Management system, Research With Rutgers. Prior to joining Rutgers, she was a Senior Project Manager in the language services industry. Julia earned her bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in Communication and Spanish and her Master’s of Science in International Communication from St. John’s University.
