Zoe Makropoulos

Zoe Makropoulos has the honor and privilege of serving as the Rutgers Future Scholars Assistant Director and Inaugural Lead of the RFS LaunchPad Program.  Zoe is passionate about the Rutgers community, cultivating a focus on career exploration/education and working with first-gen students to pursue their futures with confidence. In her role she has built the curriculum, programming and metrics to ensure RFS LaunchPad’s expanded offerings.  

Zoe works across all 3 Rutgers Campuses, 5 pre-college RFS communities and beyond with additional focus on scholars pursuing 2-year degrees and transitioning to the workforce. She has worked extensively with external corporate partners, alumni and champions to provide greater reach and opportunities to all scholars. Zoe values the internal ecosystem of Rutgers and the incredible impacts it holds. Her cross-functional expertise spans from Career Services, Enrollment Management, Financial Aid Support, Student Life, Academic Advising (ASSP Instruction) and much more. She actively engages with national organizations to amplify the model of RFS through her various presentations at the National College Attainment Network Conference and First Generation Low Income Consortium.  

Zoe is a proud two-time Rutgers Alumna holding her B.S. in Marketing from Rutgers Business School and her Masters in Human Resource Management from the School of Management and Labor Relations. Zoe likewise has completed the RBS Mini-MBA program in Intergenerational Leadership and completed the Rutgers Certifications in OneStop Systems and Online Instruction. Her professional motivation is her scholars as she knowingly states “they will change the world for the better”.
