Minakshi Lahiri, Assistant Dean, Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy (EMSOP), leverages her extensive educational and professional experience to enhance the School’s mission and vision in promoting excellence in healthcare and biomedical-education, scholarship, and research. Dr. Lahiri collaborates with faculty and provides leadership in fostering best-practices in academic-assessment and promoting faculty development in high impact practices of teaching and learning. She recently provided leadership in the School’s implementation of an Assessment Management System, designed to facilitate data-driven decision-making for educational-evaluation, program quality-improvement, curricular-development, academic-assessment, and accreditation requirements.
In her previous professional experience in academic pharmacy, Dr. Lahiri provided leadership in curriculum evaluation, academic assessments, faculty professional development and educational technology interventions. In addition, she engaged in educational research, scholarly activities, presented at conferences (AACP, Assessment Institute, AECT etc.), and published her work in several peer reviewed journals. Dr. Lahiri continues to be active in research focusing on educational evaluation, leadership in assessment, high impact practices in higher education, assessment in health education and educational technology integration. She is an active participant in the Big Ten Academic Alliance Pharmacy Education Assessment group and is a collaborator in several group initiatives/projects.
