December 2019—Gwen Mahon, Dean of the School of Health Professions at RBHS, welcomes faculty of the Department of Clinical Laboratory and Medical Imaging Sciences (CLMIS) to a day-long Excellence in Academic Health (EAH) workshop. Inspired by the Malcolm Baldrige Performance Excellence Program and the Excellence in Higher Education model (Ruben, 2017), the workshop introduces seven areas that are critical for excellence in organizational design, assessment, planning, and implementation. Throughout the session, participants identify strengths and prioritize opportunities for improvement for each of the categories. The workshop was designed and facilitated by the Rutgers Center for Organizational Leadership.
